ODD DIMENSION - Symmetrical

The Odd Dimension are Piedmont, actually come from the city of Alexandria and have been active for about nine years. "Symmetrical", published for friends of Scarlet Records, is their debut album on the record industry, although within the group are well-known faces of our national metal, such as keyboardist Gabriele Ciaccio (Secret Sphere) and the drummer Federico Pennazzato (Secret Sphere, Hell In The Club). Musically we are in the field of progressive metal, where it is easy to pull their way to industry giants such as Dream Theater and Symphony X, this certainly influences, but honestly, I love this group to their personality very strong and very specific to their identity. Their first impact was with a demo, "A New Dimension", which surprised many experts in the field. Today here is "symmetrical" and confirms that this band was born to amaze us every day. "Symmetrical" is a record that goes beyond perfection, because it is just immense, versatile and also innovative. The Odd Dimension are a dynamic group that does not know what the static. One of their song starts one way and you never know how it will end. The only certainty is that this group is great, is composed of musicians of remarkable artistic and technical staff, who can also write the music very intense and inspiring. The Piedmont Group oversaw every aspect, such as production, capable of giving the disc a very modern sound and current, but also every little arpeggio, or a simple arrangement, it is never left to chance. Frankly, I drive with utmost honesty, I was open-mouthed when a disc is fantastic I think there is really little to add. I can only say: "Odd Dimension continues to amaze us." In a poor world in every area of \u200b\u200blife, this group represents a breath of fresh air and also new. It's up to you now get carried away by the beautiful notes of "symmetrical".

HAVOK - Time Is Up

This is thrash metal! But thrash metal done with the sacred chrism! The Havok, from the United States of America, specifically from the city of Denver, Colorado and have been active for about seven years. This brand new "Time Is Up", published on Candlelight Records, is their second studio album, which comes on the music industry after a little less than two years after the debut album "Burn". Musically, we've anticipated, Havok's a fine play thrash metal, heavily inspired by the California scene, so to speak, that of the Bay Area. The influences are the usual, or Metallica Megadeth, Exodus, Testament, but especially those of the early works in particular. They are so similar to the band, Chuck Billy, who in more than one juncture the two groups, with the proper proportions, are mixed. This does not mean that Havok is a clone of the band Testament, far from it instead. David Sanchez and his companions in fact, have very specific identity, even if they have to improve in personality. "Time Is Up" is however a discrete album, where he was taken due to the power, without losing the technique, especially the guitar, something not to be underestimated in what is the style of the bottom of Havok.
